16. Stories from our Principal

Raphael Holloway

With over 40 years of experience in community service and education, Raphael Holloway has dedicated his life to the 1892 Foundation. Born into a family that valued education above all else, he saw firsthand how a lack of resources could stifle brilliant minds. His journey began in local schools, where he worked as an educator before realizing that the problems were systemic. "I've seen children who couldn't attend school because they didn't have shoes, let alone books," Raphael recalls. This foundation is the culmination of his life's work—a promise to the next generation that they will not be forgotten.
